Treasury infrastructure at scale

Customer snapshot
One of India’s largest private-sector banks, modernising a distributed treasury estate of 16 locations across five countries — 300 turret seats and 300+ users under access management — with treasury operations extending to Bahrain, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The challenge
The bank’s trading floors ran on end-of-life, end-of-support technology — legacy turrets at head office and a different IP-telephony platform in the branches — on a desk where an outage is a market exposure, not an inconvenience.
The estate did not comply with RBI guidance for a DC/DR configuration with a connected BCP site.
Vulnerability-assessment and penetration-testing (VAPT) findings could not be closed on unsupported platforms.
The two estates had grown apart, with frequent system-down incidents on the trading floors.
The solution
Exato delivered an end-to-end turret, back-end IP-PABX, IP-phone and gateway solution against the desk’s technical and functional requirements. Mitel OpenScape Voice for IP telephony, OpenScape Xpert for turrets, and NICE NTRX for recording.

Active-active DC/DR
A single solution in active-active redundancy across geo-separated data centres, meeting the DC/DR requirement.
Carrier and BCP resilience
SIP trunking in HA with dual last-mile connectivity; the BCP site runs the same setup and the same PSTN number as the main office.
100% compliance recording
2N active recording in NICE NTRX, with Exato’s ‘No Call, No Recording’ software enforcing capture.
Remote and expandable
Soft-turret working over VPN for emergencies, and new branches added with incremental hardware and licences.
